Next month, I’m heading back to Kenya—and I want to invite you to be part of it.
In January, Erin and I stood at a fruit stand in a dusty corner of Nairobi. The woman running it had gone through the Work For Life training you helped bring to Kenya in 2024. With a huge smile, she told us how she had doubled her profit margin, moved her family to better housing, and paid her children’s school and medical bills—because she learned how to run a small business well.
Her story is just one of over 2,400 lives impacted this past year through People Bridge.
At People Bridge, our mission is deeply rooted in Micah 6:8:
“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
We believe that helping under-resourced people learn to provide for themselves, rather than just giving to them, is one of the most powerful and dignifying forms of mercy and justice we can live out. This is what I have experienced over the past decade working in Africa.
From August 20–24, I will be participating in a strategic training in Kenya, alongside our Work For Life partners and People Bridge staff from Kenya and Uganda. This trip is focused on depth over breadth—going deeper with leaders who are already transforming their communities:
I am seeking to raise $8,000 to fully fund the trip and cover every participant’s needs: transportation, lodging, meals, materials, and tech support.
Here’s what your gift can do:
A full list of participants and sponsorship needs is available—if one stands out, please let me know!
This isn’t about charity. This is about discipleship. It’s about doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God—by equipping people to rise with dignity and provide for their families.
